It invests primarily in the shares of publicly traded Canadian companies that conduct their business operations in a socially responsible manner and show strong growth prospects; with some exposure to foreign companies that meet this criteria. The fund will invest in companies that have practices and policies which, relative to their peers, reflect environmental awareness, progressive labour policies and make positive contributions in the communities in which they operate. The fund will avoid companies that have a substantial involvement in the manufacture or distribution of tobacco or liquor products, weapons systems, gaming products and pornography. |
